Junebug gives us exceptional foals every year, this year is no different! Derby is so unique with his snip, he has above average bone and very correct. Cinco De Swisher aka Derby~Born on "Cinco De Mayo" and "Kentucky Derby Day" also 5th colt for us at R3 this year!

Current owner has consigned us (his breeder) to represent him. She says, Derby has had 4 months with a trainer. Two months in 2022 and went back for two months in 2023. Derby is very laid back, loves attention and not spooky. Stands for farrier and vet. Easy to catch. He is in pasture with other horses. Needs someone that is kind but firm. He is the child that will try you if you let him. UTD on vaccinations. He has a cosmetic scar on his hind right, 100% sound (pic in album).

Owner says, COPS is a 2018 Buckskin Roan Stallion. Had 30 days training as a 2 year old. Been rode trails, gathered cattle, and worked the barrel pattern. He can be cold back when not rode but I have always lunged him before riding and let him get out of system and I jump on. He rides off well and works for you. He loves to please.

He is trained in the round pen to whoa, turning back slightly and pointing. He has had ground work since he was 6 months old. Had alot of desensitizing growing up.

COPS has produced all colored foals out of 5 foals so far. Easy breeder. I personally hand bred him and my Husband holds the mare. He has been collected once on a tease mare. First jump he allowed Vet to collect him with the AV. He walks up to you in field with a halter in your hand and allows you to put on him.

He lopes a barrel pattern fairly well for the amount of time he has been able to do it. He bathes, jumps on the trailer, stands tied, saddles while not being tied, stands with rope over neck for me to trim his feet. Never had a set of shoes on. All black feet and no issues. He is smart, athletic, and good looking to boot! Would be good for a ranch or someone take him and run some cans, the choice is yours.

COPS has great bloodlines going back to BLUE VALENTINE and JOE HANCOCK with a splash of DRIFTWOOD!

🤍 A contract will be drawn up specifying price, 25% non-refundable deposit amount and deadline for pick-up after the foal is weaned.

🤍 Print and sign 2 copies, return to us with down payment. We will sign both, keep one for our records and return the other to you.

🤍 On business day 7 after initial contact you must post mark/send the signed contract with deposit. We ask that you secure returned contract by using a carrier that provides a tracking number and contact us with that tracking number. USPS priority mail w/tracking number cost under $10.00 and is sufficient.

🤍 A 2nd 25% payment will be required AUGUST 1st and is refundable if final payment can not be made, but only after foal is re-sold!

🤍 Remaining 50% will be due the day I state weanling can go home (see contract, this date changes each yr due to expected weaning day).

🤍 We generally wean between September 15th - October 15th, weanlings will be ready to leave 2wks after weaning. You get 2wks to make pick-up arrangements, after date in contract feed charges are applied. There is a "must be pick-up by date" set in contract. Other arrangements may be made prior to signing contract.

🤍 We do offer board for $125, paid weekly +feed/supplements/hoof care (we supply alfalfa/coastal +turn out and shelter).
